Vision 2030
VISION 2030
Vision 2030 is the blueprint for the socio-economic future of Saudi Arabia and puts sustainability at the heart of every aspect of the Kingdom’s transformation. By responsibly addressing the energy and climate challenges of today, Vision 2030 inspires us all to build a sustainable tomorrow.
We are inspired by the goals of the Saudi Green Initiative to create a Reserve that promotes the sustainable growth of local communities. Through collaboration with the government and the private sector, our initiatives are improving the quality of life of our team, our local communities, and visitors to the Reserve. We are also actively contributing to the global action against climate change by protecting and conserving biodiversity on land and beneath the waves.
Through our environmental and cultural restoration plans, we are creating opportunities for local communities to thrive while welcoming local and global visitors to experience our unique environment. The Reserve is proud to be part of Vision 2030 and the Saudi Green Initiative.
established in 2018
ROYAL RESERVES
The Royal Reserves Council, established in 2018 by Royal Order, announced six Royal Reserves, each with its Board of Directors. Overseen by the Council of Royal Reserves and chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Council aims to safeguard Saudi Arabia’s natural environment and wildlife and promote ecotourism. The Royal Reserves’ strategic objectives contribute to the Kingdom’s sustainability and environmental conservation efforts, supporting the goals of the Saudi Green Initiative to protect 30% of the country’s land and marine areas by 2030.
